SKILLED RIDER COURSE WHAT TO EXPECT

Plan to push yourself and your motorcycle to a whole new level
Expect to learn a lot
Sharpen skills you've not used in a long time
Learn with highly trained Motorcycle Safety Foundations (M.S.F.) & Harley-Davidson trained coaches
Spend your time learning about just how far you can push your motorcycle to improve safety skills

SKILLED RIDER COURSE FAQ

  • You'll need a valid Wisconsin motorcycle license
  • You need to provide your own motorcycle for this course
  • Valid motorcycle license will be required for this class
  • Your motorcycle will also need to pass a safety inspection before class begins
  • This class will not earn you a waiver for the M endorsement at the DMV
  • You will be required to satisfactorily complete an initial riding evaluation in order to continue in the class
  • Upon successful completion you will earn a Basic Rider Course 2 Skilled Rider Completion Card
  • It is advised that each rider have been riding at least 6 months and/or 1,000 miles on the motorcycle you bring to class

WHEN YOU COMPLETE THE COURSE YOU WILL:

  • Upon successful completion you will earn a Basic Rider Course 2 Skilled Rider Completion Card
  • Receive full support of the entire Dealership staff, before, during and well after your class
  • You will sharpen your skills with low speed maneuvers, stopping quickly and tight tights from a stop, limited space maneuvers, avoiding hazards, and stopping in a curve
  • You will have the opportunity to take a Skills Evaluation test – but it is not required for successful completion
